Through tattooing, I am able to help you tell your story, share your perspective on the world, and hopefully make you even more beautiful.  

Tattooing offers me an opportunity to work directly with those who love to wear my designs. It is a personal experience, tailor-made for you.

I do only black and grey work [with rare exceptions, when necessary], and only original custom pieces. I may be able to add to an existing piece, but tend to avoid cover-ups unless they’re small.

My process begins with a consultation on your theme, personality,  body type, and imagery that appeals to you. From there, I draw upon my knowledge of design and art history to arrive at a unique solution. Ultimately my goal is to make you happy and proud of work that is specific to You.

Juan Monsalve wanted a tree on his thigh, rooted in the nutrient goodness of earth, and enriching us all with breathable air. he provided me with a range of inspiration, from abstract to storybook realism. i chose to take the route of more architectural representation: a simplicity that would work well for his form, and still be very readable when all the hair grows back. . this was juan’s third tattoo with me, and as always, it was a pleasure.

To be tattooed, please reach out to me through the contact link. I will accept a one hour deposit before I begin designing. Designing a piece for you can require much more time than the actual tattooing; a deposit ensures that if you cancel, not all of my time is lost. Once a deposit is received we can begin [or continue] our consultation.

My rates vary by continent. Once we have made contact we can discuss the specifics and move forward.
